Dorothy Meenan, age 92, of Millwood, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Brookdale.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1924 in Millersburg to the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Smeeth) Reese.
Dorothy was a member of the American Business Woman’s Assoc. and TWIGS. She was a former member of Millwood Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Tracy of Howard; a brother, Loren Reese of Atlanta; nieces, Christy Stricker of Granville and Laura (Ken) Chapin of Mount Vernon; great niece and nephew, Eric Stricker and Tracy (Mark) Sims; great great-niece and nephew, Maya and Jacob Sims and a cousin, Karen (Jim) Kennedy.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James Meenan and an aunt, Mildred Taylor.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Lasater Funeral, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Millwood Cemetery.
