Lola St. John, age 48, of Mount Vernon, passed away on June 9, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on April 25, 1969 in Delaware, Ohio to Carol Smith.

Lola was a nurse’s aide for The Ohio Eastern Star Home for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandma and friend to many.

Lola is survived by her husband of 26 yrs., Gary Edward; her mother, Carol (Dave Randall) Smith; son, Justin Stultz; daughters, Anna Frost and Alisha Campbell; brothers, Johnny and Danny Stultz; sister, Patty Brown; grandchildren, Kayla and Jaycub Hagans, Carolina, Asia and Kansas Price, Lillyanna and Zander Campbell; cousin, Tommy Hampton and a niece’s, Abigail and Payton Stultz; nephew, L.J. Stultz

Special friends, John Gorley, Tamara Smith, Glen Spellman, Dave Bloore, Earsel Elkins, Carla Proper, Terry Jones, Amber Gantt, Alicia Gobble, Rick Black, Tim and Mike Kromoff, Charlotte Kromoff, Rick and Theresa Martin, Barb Morton, David Dial, Joe and Robin Smith; Angie Depey, Herb Carter, Louise Fawcett, James and Andrew Fawcett, Suzi Stacy, Steve Frost and Kay Davis.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley St. John; brothers, John and Robert Stultz; and an uncle, Lester Smith.

Friends may call on Wed., June 14th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Lasater Funeral Home, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon, where a time of sharing will follow at 7:00 PM. A covered meal lunch will be held on Wed. from 1:00 -3:00 PM at the Amvets prior to calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
