By Shelby Jean Straight
Take me from this world dear God
The one I’ve known in pain
Lay me ‘neath the nice, green sod
And wash it clean with rain
It’s true that time can ease the pain
But it doesn’t bring sunshine after the rain
Jesus is the comforter
Whose stripes are the rainbow, left in its place
He will erase the troubled lines
And put a smile upon your face
Being Planned and will be announced.
